Hello, I’m Ryan Black.

This site is my personal collection of free websites, communities, and small tools that I’ve built using (mostly) free scripts and platforms I find around the internet.

I enjoy taking open-source or free tools, setting them up, and turning them into useful little projects - whether it’s a chat room for coffee lovers, a simple file-sharing utility, a recipe community, or a niche discussion forum.

How I usually build them:

  1. Find a free or open-source script/platform that looks interesting
  2. Install it on a basic web host
  3. Give it a simple name and a clean design
  4. Open it up for people to use

I deliberately keep things lightweight. Most of these sites run on free or low-cost tools (OSClass, HumHub, phpBB, Jirafeau, Blab, etc.) with minimal customization.

Some projects work without any signup. Others (especially the community and forum-style ones) need a free account so members can post and interact.

The goal isn’t to build the next big platform - it’s just to create small, useful spaces and utilities that anyone can try.

Feel free to explore the projects. If you have a question, a suggestion, or an idea for a new free tool, the Contact page is always open.
